Aleph: another great book by Paulo Coelho
“Don’t be intimidated by other people’s opinions. Only mediocrity is sure of itself, so take risks and do what you really want to do. Seek out people who aren’t afraid of making mistakes and who, therefore, do make mistakes. Because of that, their work often isn’t recognised, but they are precisely the kind of people who change the world and, after many mistakes, do something that will transform their own community completely.”
In Aleph, Paulo takes you on his personal journey, where he is searching to be reconnected with his former lives. Even though he has written a lot of books and is a successful writer, he’d reached a point where he lost the connection with his spiritual side and just like many other people he felt stuck. After a good talk with his mentor J, he decided to go further on his journey knowing he would find the answers.
For me this book is very inspiring, I guess I just attract books that I need to read at a certain moment in time. The same goes for this book, it gives me more insight into some spiritual questions I definitely have, which at the same time gives me a certain peace and understanding.
Love, Mara Michels
